Access Statement

This access statement does not contain personal opinions as to our suitability for those with access needs, but aims to accurately describe the facilities and services that we offer all our guests/visitors.

Introduction

The Courtyard Rooms are located in the Essex town of Brightlingsea and offers six rooms; one Single, one Twin, two Doubles, King and Family room – all with their own ensuite.

The rooms and lounge / dining area have recently been refurbished.

We are located at the very centre of the High Street, within a 10 minute walk to the coast and local attraction, Bateman’s Tower. The historic town of Colchester and the seaside town of Clacton-On-Sea are both easily accessible by car or public transport.

Our building is located on the corner of High Street and Richard Avenue. The car park can be accessed from the side of the building on Richard Avenue.

The nearest bus stops are approximately 100m away in Victoria Place (by the Tesco Express). There is no shelter or seating. Busses run approximately every 30 minutes to the towns of Colchester and Clacton. The bus service stops prior to midnight.

Colchester railway station is a 20 minute drive / bus journey away, connecting with London Liverpool Street. Taxis are usually available at Colchester station but we can book one for you in advance if required.
